Library Volunteer Information

The ABECC Library Needs Your Help! The ABECC School Library is looking for Volunteers to help us with Student Library Time. Volunteer duties include: Checking in and Checking out Books, Re-schelving, Helping students find interesting reading materials, and having fun with us while we use Computers, STEM Toys, and Coding Tools. Library classes are held every day from 9:00 am to 11:15 am, and run through the end of the school year.

 

Volunteer Requirements

All adults who are interested in volunteering in the classroom must Complete a CORI form and bring it to the office with your license. Once your CORI is cleared you will be all set to volunteer! CORI Form:

Each class runs for 45 minutes, and I am looking to have at least 2 Volunteers per class. Library Volunteers work a little differently than Classroom Volunteers, so you are not limited by only signing up your child's class. Many of our Library Volunteers sign up for a specific time frame, rather than a specific class. This allows all classes to have a quality experience during Library with adequate volunteer coverage.
